I do not do restorations. Several reasons: I do not have the money, time, patience, room, the list goes on. But, most importantly, I can not stand to have any of my trucks torn down in the garage or driveway for more than one weekend at a time. I get real hyper and stressed out when I know that even just one of the trucks is not standing at the ready, waiting for the spur-of-the-moment call to make a run to the lumber yard, haul away the tree that fell from the storm, clean out the drive from the blizzard, pull the local kid's Tonka Toy from the river bottom, or just take a drive north for a couple hundred miles. I am told I am real hard to live with when one of my "children is sick". Same with the rest of my tools, when I go to the garage, I expect to find them all in their place and ready for the next job.
Guess we are all nuts about something.
