By modifying your oil pump-easily removed from an engine while in chasis.Or modify a new pump and swap them.The ones I've seen put 2 pipe elbows into the output passage of the pump, with the passage plugged between them. If I were to do this mod, I think I'd put the 'outlet' fitting in the apropriate spot on the cover. Use big enough fittings- same I.D. as the passage in the pump.
