Mitsubishi Diesel

There is a '78 Dodge chassis with a Mitsubishi Diesel in a local salvage yard. It has a 727 automatic transmission. This is a rolling chassis with no body.

It is a small inline six, I believe 243 cubic inches. Can these be turbo charged for more power? They were only sold by Dodge for two years. This motor appears to be compact enough for an older truck repower.
