Is $5000 too much for an m-43 ambulance?

there is a fairly nice one by my house, its all there, has a rebuilt motor, was registered as recently as 95, brand new tires, very LITTLE rust, just some behind the doors, and its not that bad. the owner says it runs, but he was too crabby to get much out of at the moment. he basically owns a sanblasting place and its like an old truck graveyard, he has all these antique trucks,a military dumptruck, military grader?(levels the ground) etc. and he's just letting them get vandalized, the m-43 is still in good shape with the exception thsat every one of the front windows is broken. the guy said hed even throw in a winch for it. Opinions?
