Casebro, My 47 Flatfender has an original overflow Tank. It mounts to the four threaded holes right about where your heater mounts to the firewall. It's definitely original & it is listed in the WDX parts book as part #927191. It has a metal pipe that connects it to the neck of the radiator. This brings me back to my original question...I understand how it would expand & overflow into this tank, but what would bring the coolant back into the radiator if the radiator cannot build vacuum as a modern cooling system works?
