compression check is not a brain surgery! aircraft want aq bit more accuracy cause a plane just can`t pullover the side of the road with engine problems. besides if you have an old engine that sat for several years i recomend a teardown and hone the cylender wall beacus of pitting wich holds fuel in the wall will burn up the rings from lack of lubrication anyway. if you want to obsess over something this is not it.
