You may have a broken wire somewhere between the battery and the ignition switch, or the wire from the ignition switch to the coil.
When its hot (engine running) the conductor of the wire expands and makes a poor connection. When its cold the conductor contracts and you loose the connection and it will not start. Suggest you unhook the wire from the ignition switch to the coil.
Run a jumper wire #12 in size from the battery to the coil, attach a allagator clip to the end of the wire. Clip the hot wire to the coil and crank the engine. If it runs, you know there is a break or poor connection somewhere from the battery thru the ignition switch to the coil. To shut the engine off unclip the jumper wire you put on the coil.
This will at least prove all your wires/switch is good or bad. It will not point to the bad part/area. That would have to be found by elimination.
