Do the Dodge 3/4 ton and 1 Ton pickups share the same brakes ? Or do the 1 Ton have larger, more surface area ?

What other advantages does a 1 ton Dodge 4x4, SINGLE REAR WHEELS have as a tow vehicle (gooseneck trailer) over a 3/4 ton Dodge. The 3/4 ton is Rated at 19,000 GCVW, and I am only 17,760 with my PW on the trailer.

Cant use a duelly in snow up here.
