Sorry to hear the news. Thats a lot of truck to come up missing.
If the truck did not have current registration, it was probably ticketed and towed. Worse yet, the police front desk will probably not be able to confirm this for 2 working days. I went through the very same thing with a vehicle of mine. Contact the police and ask them. Hopefully, your transporter is bonded and will cover this.
