Duallies are stable in other ways. I had about 2000 lbs of parts in the back of my F350 going 70 downhill on a 2-lane farm road, when a lady pulled out in front on me in a minivan. Rather than T-bone her, I swerved very hard into oncoming traffic and back again (and yes, there were cars coming the other way...) The truck stayed very flat and performed well. I think a SRW would have flipped or blown a tire.
