Well guys, after selling rebuilt door latches to other people, I finaly got one in a truck of mine.
The 57 W100 I just bought had a bad latch, and none of my used ones were good enough to use.
I installed the rebuilt latch, and was SHOCKED at how nice it makes the door work, I had used these latches on other trucks, but I only opened the door a couple times to check function, and that was the end of it.
With this truck, as I am repairing it, I open and close the door often, and evey time I marvel at how nice the door opens.
These are a GREAT improvement over even a decent looking latch, as they are often worn badly on the inside, and you can't tell without taking it out of the door to look.
I have several in stock ready to sell, $130 with shipping in the lower 48 if you provide your old latch as a core. I have both passenger and drivers side latches!
These fit, 57-60 Dodge trucks(except P series, and FF PWs), 61-66 Town Wagon/ Town Panels, and 61-67 LCFs. I also have 61-67 pickup, and medium duty style latches for the same price.
Go to the link below to see more info about them.
Thanks!
Eric
