Door Locks on a 76 (non electric)

Went to get in my truck last night and the drivers door lock doesn't lock/unlock from the outside. Have never had any problems with the lock before, it just abruptly stopped working???

So I'm going to tear it apart tonight, However if anyone has any advice or knows why this may have happened any info would be greatly appreciated.
