If you really aspire to be a knowledgable tire guy & enjoy hard work, then find a pro like Mike, read the safety stuff 1st Just in case he`s NOT like Mike, & go for it. I helped change split rims since I was 12 & I didn`t learn about safety stuff till I was a 2nd year apprentice (17). By the grace of God I`m still here! Our shops weren`t "tire" shops, but in 25 years I never saw a ring come off. A man up here got killed putting air in his pickup tire when the sidewall blew out(his truck had been in a tire shop that day) ANY kind of pressure is DANGEROUS! I encourage (young) people to learn to Do it Once- Do it Right. have fun George
