I sure that this is just a start: but: we dropped a 360 car engine in a 53 M37, oil pan, pick-up tube, and exaust manifolds, there should be plenty of 318 PU engine floating around, I would try to stay away from the car engine, just because of the external factors. Someone might tell you the tech diff between the two. Tom
