Such strong feelings you express! My civilian PW played this game a couple of times and it turned out to be the carb float set to allow too much fuel into the carb. Above a certain RPM, the carb literally overflows. I have seen people diagnose this problem as excessive fuel pump pressure and then go spend money on a fuel pressure regulator when all that's needed is fifteen minutes and a pair of pliers to bend the float tab a bit. None of this means that it's not an electrical problem, however.
