I have a 41 wc-4, it has a 57 plymouth flathead 230 in it. I can't determine the correct oil filter. The filter can on the engine is a Purolator type N-1601. What filter cartridge fits it. Napa says Napa # 1011, it doesn't seem right. Westbay (local chain) says fram CH106PL, it's diameter is right but it's about an inch too tall. I pulled out a shredded fram CH6PL that was shimmed up with 3 extra gaskets at the bottom. I Put in a Napa # 1004 (equivalent to Fram CH6PL) but I again had to use the 3 extra small rubber gaskets and the supplied cap gasket was too large, so I don't think it's right. Can anybody help with this madness???
