Must be a common problem, my '78 trailduster has the 'box melted at the fan fuse, a replacement from a parts truck was even worse. My truck occasionally burns the fuse, have not looked for the real cause yet. My guess is the fan just pulls a lot of amps. I'll probably go to an external fuse holder for this circuit.
