Have you gone through/rebuilt the front end? Someone posted here (maybe a year or so ago) that replacing the upper trunnion brass bushing with a roller bearing made steering alot better. Not quite power steering, but better.
I put rollers on my B1 but haven't driven it yet to be able to tell the difference. Maybe someone else has done it and can post?
