Tranny and Transfer Case Oil Spec?

I'm doing some winterizing on my '64 W200 (NP 420 & .... oh what the heck is the number of the transfer case ... the one that has the 2 levers, divorced from the tranny... 501(?))

Anyway, I have 80W90 gear oil in both the transmission and transfer case and rememeber a discussion on the board about an "upgrade" to a thicker oil.

What was the oil spec and where can I find some?
