Norm, wish i had this when i did my springs! What a great site, goes to my favorites list, the front bushings(frame) are the most difficult i have ever run across to find, seems as usual not covered by aftermarket, most people replace the spring bushings and still have slop due to this. Ever run into this, think dodge has glitch in that different frame bushings in truck where book calls for 1 size only, you guessed it, other size is not listed by application or blank in most parts catalogs. He is lucky to have a place like espo close, i would buy those springs from them new all around! Great prices and have gone to trobule to list dodge trucks in there catalog! I put 1 ton dodge stock springs on my w100 and ran into bushing prob, if anyone does put bigger(more leaves) in a w100 with a dana 44 you MUST USE spring shims to turn the pinion back up about 5 degrees, i learned this the hard way, the 3/4 and up springs use a larger dia axle and different spring pad to locate the angle. Gives about 4 inches lift with stock springs, think mine were off 1985 4 door crew cab, cheap lift kit stock springs made for dodge, just watch frame bushings in front hanger, change pinon angle back to normal with shims! Hey norm, i am looking for anyone with info on how they buildt the swamp fox, especially where the wheels came from and how they made them clear, any idea who whould know/ Thanks!
