I got a 230 runs 51mph with no problem a little hard on the rpm level I have drove it for 50 mile strtches and it ran well enough I wasnt comfortable with the rpm I have 583s lockouts sta superlug tires and have drove it for 3 years and put roughly 7500 miles on it in all conditions and I like it, but I got a dennan overdrive to put in supposed to give it a 27% reduction in gearing which will give me the rpm reduction I seek. I got a 251 in a WC12 and it goes like a modern truck I think that 230 has more usuable low end. That 251 seems to do better for highway but stay tuned hopefully I will get this overdrive in next week and can get you a report. I like the 251 but the 230 feels like it has morer substance and it may be the way the guy rebuilt it that had the truck before me the motor feels very strong in it .
