I don't think I would use a bead of silicone there.. A dab in the corners where intake (fronts and rears) meets the heads. Silicone is not a gasket and should not be used to replace any gaskets. It fails most of the time on a differential covers also.
If you need some insurance. Clean the surfaces and dry them and use a thin coat of felpro gasket tack and use the center pins that hold the front and rear gasket in place and from slipping later. Use a little silicone on the threads of the intake bolts and that will prevent any oil puddling up there later..
