Yes, profit does makes the world go around. I've sold guitars for 35 years, and that's about the only other commodity, like vehicles, that folks feel the right to haggle over. "No" from a customer means a buyer and seller can't agree on price on THIS ITEM ONLY. If that dealer wanted to make a sale NEXT TIME, he would have shown a little common courtesy, offered Jonas a ride home, and made a friend. I learned many years ago that before you can sell anything you've got to sell yourself. And a salesman achives that through honesty and a genuine concern for his customers' happiness, not by sticking them with the item they will profit most by selling. I'll put the saop-box away now.
