I have received emails requesting pictures of the Dynamic Test Stand I mentioned in the last forum. It is now complete. It was built using 5/16 x 6 inch heavy channel (13 pounds per foot. The Axles are 3000 pound trailer axles shortened to conserve space. It was built to hold and allow running of a 4, 6 or 8 cylinder engine. It has Oil, Amp, Temp and Tach mounted on the front panel. Its easy to move with a trailer dolly which lifts the front wheels off the ground. I was able to move the stand with the Cummins 4BT on the shop floor with one hand.
Later after we get ready for winter, the 4BT will be rebuilt, wired and run on the stand prior to installing in the 'Weary, Battle Scared Defender of Freedom, now under going reconstructive surgery.
