Transmission jack

In the past, all I have ever used was a floor jack to remove and replace transmissions. Trucks which do not have a divorced transfer mess that idea up entirely. So, I think at the age of 52 it is time I considered a transmission jack, so I don't kill myself some time.

My question is this: Keeping in mind that I am not going to buy a new one, what is your experience with regard to a brand and type that you have found to be really good? If I can identify one or more excellent brands/kinds, I will starting looking for one.
