Every man is entitled to his opinion & I guess it all depends on what you're doing with the truck. I think you better have a look at Judd's pictures from the trail ride at Pat & Wanda's....driven like this, POR15 will not hold up. I've never seen an aircraft that's not painted with Endura?(two part epoxy)
POR15 will last up to 3 years before it's rusting again. If you continually apply it, it'll be fine. If you properly prep a frame,...or anything for that matter, unless it's subjected to mechanical damage(scraped), Epoxy will last 25 years or longer, & up to 10 years in the ocean before it needs any re-coating. I think I can safely say if a frame were painted properly with Epoxy when the owner was 18, he'd never have to paint that frame again in his lifetime & it would always look new.
