Well a kid at the local "auto superstore" told me about an antique car parts shop that turned out to be five miles away from my house. I brought the carb in, in less than 15 minutes they figured out what it was and handed me a rebuild kit for $16 (it is a carter 3277S). An hour and a half later I had the card rebuilt and the truck running again :~)
I should have some pics soon of me driving it around the yard, still needs brake lines replaced, as they have a couple splits. Still aiming for having on the road by the first of the year.
As far as manuals there is no one manual for the truck as it is sort of a factory "bastard" truck. I have 4 different manuals which I extract bits of info from.
I certainly took a gamble on this truck, but now with where I am at I am quite happy with it. So far getting it going has been a lot quicker and less expensive than I expected, let's hope it stays that way.
