I thought that too when I first saw it. I think the loggers that named the St Joe drainage didn't want to exaggerate. Marble Creek, Fishhook Creek and Big Creek of the Joe are just as big as Slate Creek or bigger. And my place is near the upper end. Down where it runs into the river, it's 3X the size. Even at my end, the whole 100' runs 2-3' deep, fast and white during the spring melt. Won't be doing any fording then. Glad to hear Colorado finally got some rain.
