440 Timing Question

I have a 1978 3/4t 4WD 440 427 no AC. The manuals say to set the timing according to the emmisions plate in the engine compartment. It's not there. This truck came from Dodge with NO emmisions equipment. What ° BTC should I set it at? Thanks for any help.
