The 3/4-ton bocy sits lower on the frame. You can see the difference under the doors. The 1/2-ton floor is flat, because the whole thing sits up higher negating the need for the transmission hump.
My Dad says I'll ruin my Carryall by converting to a Diesel. That just means I'll have to do it RIGHT so he'll apprecisate the improvements.
You've got to appreciate the hard work that went into that 24V conversion, but he should have listend to my Dad. I could see lengthening the hood, but I'd try real hard not to widen it appreciatbly. You'd think that could have been avoided.
