cant get front drum off 1957 flat fender

i have a 1957 flat fender that im taking the drums off and the rears came off real easy but the drivers side front wont pull off. ive taken the screws out that hold the drum and have hit the outside of the drum with a dead blow hammer but it still wont come off. i need some expert advice on this. thanks dave in washington state.
