Your question is lacking critical information. Every one that responded seemed to miss the obvious question, what type truck are we talking about ?
There is not just one type 1968 POWER WAGON.
There are W-100's,W-200's, W-300's,and the huge W-500's. You could be referring to the original flatfender type PW of which a 68'
would be called a WM300 PW.
The 413 would be better suited to a W series
PW and at least a W-300 1-ton as the 413 is heavy on the front axle and springs.
Please, don't try to squeeze it into a WM300
as you will have to butcher the sheet metal and change much to ever get it to fit and work. It was not even designed for a smallblock V-8 let alone a bigblock V-8.
