It starts good, if run daily

I have a Carter 2bbl carb on my 318. It runs GREAT, and starts instantly, if run daily. If you let it sit for more than 2 days, it cranks a long time, just like it had an empty fuel bowl in the carb. I can see no fuel leaks anywhere around the carb. It was a NOS Carb in a sealed box when I got it.

Any thoughts ?
