Replacing an 727 auto with manual.

Hello.
I found a running W200 drive train to drop my WC-18 body on. Been searching for 3 months.
Problem is, it has a 727(I think) auto tranny and I really want a stick. At a later date, can I swap it for a manual without too much hassle? Or should I keep looking?
