Dana70 good or bad

I'm looking at a 79 power wagon has dana70 up front and on back. Duelly but rear has big spacers between wheels and lug nuts aren't full nut The front has 8 lug wheels and drum brakes. Must be off early 70's model. Rear not sure about. Only seen a few pictures and talked with owner. Will dana 70 hold up to 6 cylinder cummins from dodge pickup? How easy is it to find rearend to match front or to convert to single wheels. any help. Thanks
