I drove my M37 from Raleigh, NC to Thomson, GA this year for the spring rally with several detours along the way to trade parts with folks (had the M101 in tow).
I frequently take it for weekend trips of 600 miles to pick up/drop off stuff...
It does have a Cummins stuffed under the hood...
A retired coworker used to tell me tales of driving a M37 during his time in the Army in the fifties... One of the funniest was his tale of vapor locking the truck while driving through Savannah, GA, in a convoy where he didn't quite make it to the fuel depot in time... The trip had originated in NC.
