Viruses, the answer?

I see a lot of concern here about viruses that appear to originate from someone who frequents this site. Both of the ISPs that are available to me, here in the small farming commumity where I live, offer virus protection free of charge. The one that I subscribe to, has found and stripped viruses from email at the tune of about 5 to 7 per week for the last year. The ISP takes care of all of this and all I see is a stripped message with a warning that a virus was found in it, and that I am receiving the remains of what is left. I do not go and try to read what is left over. I just delete the whole thing. Norton has never found a virus on my machine. The ISP is doing a good job of cleaning what I receive.

I would advise everyone to check with their provider. If the two offered to me here in this small town include this service free of charge, (one is operated by the small independant locally owned telephone company), then I would think that this service would be a growing trend across the country.

Hope this helps,
Clint
