Another possibility is getting it to the Bumper Boyz. The Boyz are Mexican Americans who live in San Diego but take all their work across the border to Tiajuana. I am impressed with their work since they actually restore old chrome pieces that are missing metal. Everything is deplated, restored and then replated.
Bumper Boyz attend all of the American large automobile swap meets such as Hershey, Carlisle, Charlotte, etc. I know they do some swap meets on the west coast. They have a large semi-trailer which goes back to San Diego every two weeks or so. You can make arrangements to pick up the work at a future swap meet or they will ship.
They have an 800 number and advertise in Hemmings and other swap meet periodicals. People tell me their prices are better. I know that at Carlisle and Hershey their booth always has a bunch of customers around.
