Jason, Get a can or tube of never-seize, a compound of parafin, graphite, powered copper or aluminum, etc. It's messy stuff, but I use it on wheel lugs, U-bolts, head bolts, anything tapered (ball joints) just about everything that doesn't get lock-tite . It lubes the threads and prevents water intrusion (rust) as well as preventing galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals. Great stuff! Rob
