I am quite sure that the straight eight bellhousing is all by itself. And if you don't want Fluid Drive, you may have to find a '38 or older one. The Fluid Drive made its appearance in '39, not sure if standard or optional.
Horsepower for the last one in 1950 was 135 @ about 3200, I believe. Torque was in the 270 ft lb area at about 1200. They weighed several pounds more than the 331 Hemi that replaced them.
