Hey,
My dad injured his L5 disk back in November and has been going to the doctor since sometime in December or January. They have tried everything from physical theropy to injecting steroids into his spine, 3 times. They did some test a week ago and found out more info, realizing it was torn. They have a new procedure that hasnt been out for about 8 months, but they go into the center of the disk and pull some of the fluids out of it so it can all concentrate back to the center and allow for it to shrink again and releive the pain. He is having this done next week and will cause him to be out of work for 2 weeks, but the doctors say this will take care of all the problems.
