Martie adopted my (our) '64 crewcab back when we had that. She drove it at a couple of Rallys and it earned the nickname "The Hen Wagon" because of her carrying all of her lady pals in it on the trail rides, I believe it was Todd Somers who said that they sounded like a bunch of cackling hens, and the name stuck. Then, when I moved from a job 1 mile from home to a job 35 miles from home, she adopted my (our) '62 Town Panel, because I needed a more modern vehicle for the rush hour traffic. She really liked all of the looks she got running errands around town. (Seems women have egos too!) Now that I (we) have the '51, and she is more comfortable driving the '47 that I had since before we were married, she has taken to driving it to the Rallys.
Man you gotta love em.
