I was out back watering the rattlesnakes and driving around in my Jeep. (It really is a Jeep, Paul!) You've covered just about everything except boiling the block! I had a similar problem that turned out to be the clutch fan, but I'm assuming that you don't have such a fan? Is the thermostat working (I know you replaced it) or in backwards??? Have you tried removing the thermostat (temporarily) to see if that makes a difference? Wrong fan belt pully size ?
