I have a 61 towmwagon powerwagon. I recently rewired it using a schematic from the 61-71 Dodge page. The truck has a 76 360 with the newer two wire altenator and corresponding voltage regulator. My amp meter reads about 45-50 amps when I'm driving. Is this a normal output? I 've cooked two batteries with this output, before the rewire. I don't really want to replace another battery. Any suggestions?
