I'm sorry for the mis-lead. It was a diesel Shovel unit. But the outside supply area @ the museum had over a haft dozen of these shovels and I can bet one was steam. Kind of reminded me of the pre-school books I read to my son.
The operator even let some of the folks load the trucks with him at stand-by. It was great.
