The Drudge Report - www.DrudgeReport.com - is reporting this morning the recall of 46,000 Dodge 2002 Ram 1500 trucks owing to a weak weld on the rear axle. Returning the vehicles to dealers will result in the installation of a reinforcement bracket on the axle.
Drudge also reports that 111,000 diesel powered 1997-1998 model Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 pickups have been recalled owing a fitting in the engine which will corrode in winter road salt. Returning the vehicle to a dealer will result in the installation of a non-corrosive fitting in the engine.
