i am finishing my command car restoration and have the following extra parts.
orig tailgate- needs center where pioneer rack sat reskinned and needs hinge work. locking mechanisms are there and work. i took off the two chain hooks for use on my truck
custom fabbed fuel tank- i had a fuel tank made for my truck as my tank was shot. tank is welded steel and uses the orig fuel fill spout and fuel gauge sender boss. it needs to be cleaned and sealed inside. i removed when i found a nos tank.
runningboards- one sandblasted driver side. very good condition with some small pinholes under where the tire sat. came off my truck when i found a bought a nos board from brian wood.
one orig passenger side- in good shape except whre battery sat. need hat channel and flat metal under battery replaced. i went with a repro for time savings, but this board is definately savable. i'm pretty sure it has the dodge stamp on the rear. if you are a purist and need orig, you can easily make this board work
one 'prototype' passenger side. dennis sherman reproduced my orig runningboard perfectly, except that he pressed the diamonds across the enire surface of the board. i told him that i was not going to mount a battery on the board again, and he assumed i wasn't going to mount the box. Bang out the diamonds or cut and weld and you have a great repro.
