1946 power wagon in Australia

I am looking at bying a 1946 dodge power wagon in Australia. They are not very common in Australia but I,ve managed to track one down. I need some assistance trying to find the serial #.I found the chasis # which is W22648 and the engine # which is TE3 48 but cannot find any numbers like the 8 digit numbers which star with 8 as shown on this site.Maby I am looking in the wrong spot, can somebody PLEASE help me.
