Civilian PW cab/front on 3/4 ton military?? 251 changes

Has anyone tried putting a P W civilian cab/front end on a 3/4 ton military 4X4 or 6X6 frame? If so, will it fit or how much modification is necessary?

Another question is how hard is it to find the bits and pieces to move the radiator forward to accomodate the longer 251 six in a civilian PW? Can the parts be fabricated or do you have to find a donor truck? What happens to the hole in the cowl over the radiator? Seems like it would not clear the filler neck if the the radiator is moved forward two inches.
