I bought a recently rebuilt 230 out of a 1946
Dodge car to put in my WDX. Tonight I went to put a new pilot bushing in end of crankshaft and the hole was too small. Is the hole in crank smaller in a car motor than
a truck? Old machinest in town said he could
machine a bushing with correct OD & ID. Is this the correct route to go? Does anybody
sell a bushing like this? I really don't want to pull crank out to be machined if it can be helped. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Lyman
